Collection: Château Kefraya

Located in the western part of the Bekaa Valley, Chateau Kefraya was the project of a
life of the founder and visionary Michel de Bustros, whose largest property is located in
your family for several generations.

The first vineyards were planted in 1951 and in 1979, in the midst of the civil war, they were
the first wines produced entirely on the premises were produced.

From the beginning, Chateau Kefraya wines stood out for their difference and above all for their
quality of its combination of grape varieties, as Bustros predicted, for whom:

The vineyard extends over 300 hectares of terraced slopes, 1000 meters above sea level.
Mediterranean Sea, at the foot of Mount Barouk in the Bekaa Valley. This special location
where terroirs are found, with clayey, sandy and stony soils, enjoy a
exceptional sun exposure, without watering.

In addition to the diversity of the terroir, Château Kefraya produces a wide and stimulating
variety of grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay and Viognier, as well
as well as more unusual varieties such as Carménère, Marselan and Muscat à Petits Grains.

A sustainable wine policy allows vineyards to flourish while respecting the
expression of terroir. The significant variations in temperature between day and night
guarantee perfect ripening of the grapes and optimal harvesting conditions.
